Wisden Court is situated towards the south end of Findon Road and is less than ten minutes walk from a good parade of shops including a hairdressers, post office, bakers, and a supermarket.
There is also a doctors’ surgery, a church and a library. It has well maintained gardens which residents are encouraged to enjoy and partake in their upkeep if they wish. Across the road the regular bus service runs into Worthing town centre.
There are thirty-two one-bedroom flats at Wisden Court. For those residents who are unable to get out, a hairdresser, chiropodist and mobile library visit regularly.
There are two large attractive communal lounges. The front lounge, which has a small kitchen, is often used for informal gatherings such as coffee mornings, bingo, and parties. The rear lounge overlooking a pretty garden has a small library and often holds art classes. There is a well-equipped laundry room, two shower rooms and a large attractive guest room for relatives to use if they wish.
During the summer months, there are often trips out to local places of interest as well as strawberry cream teas and barbeques which are very popular!!
