10 years is a significant milestone for Worthing Homes and it was great to kick off a year of events and community initiatives with our ‘Celebrating 10’ launch party on Thursday, 28 May, 2009.
The party at Worthing Homes’ Davison House headquarters was a resounding success and we would like to thank everyone who came along to celebrate.
The Mayor of Worthing, Noel Atkins, was present to cut a ‘Celebrating 10′ birthday cake. Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club’s mascot, Gully, put in an appearance too, in support of Worthing Homes’ community football initiative. There were also a number of representatives from local businesses and community groups at the launch, along with the Chair of Adur District Council, Councillor Brenda Collard, and local MPs Peter Bottomley and Tim Loughton.
