The 16 June saw a gathering of business people attend the launch of The Community House Business Partnership Scheme at the Windsor House Hotel.
The event was held to promote the new scheme which gives businesses an opportunity to contribute to the economic and social well-being of families in the local area.
In attendance were the five business partners who have already signed up to the scheme:
Along with our guest speakers Tim Loughton, MP for Shoreham and East Worthing, and Peter Bennett of Bennett Griffin solicitors and chair of Worthing chamber of trade and commerce.
After the presentations the guests were treated to a strawberry tea and Pimms whilst having the opportunity to discuss more about the scheme and do a spot of networking.
“It was a fantastic afternoon,” said Sue Brown, project manager of the house. “The response we have had to the scheme has been phenomenal. I’m looking forward to working with our business partners and making a difference to the local community.”
On the video below, two of our business partners (Innavision and South Coast Productions) talk about why they have become involved and the difference it makes.
