On the 26 February our RedAssure team held a referrers event to bring together lots of different organisations that advise and help people to remain independent in their own homes for longer. Among the agencies exhibiting were:- Guildcare, Alzheimers Society, Adur and Worthing Wellbeing Hub, ICIS, the Falls Prevention Team and of course RedAssure.
Norah Fisher, Worthing Mayoress and RedAssure customer, attended the event along with Herbie, her canine partner, who demonstrated his ability to press the red button on Norah’s careline unit in times of trouble.
Everyone enjoyed the day and said how beneficial it was to have events like these where we can all work together and share information to ensure that people in the community who need help get it as quickly as possible.
