We have a new chief executive

Worthing Homes is pleased to announce that Jackie Bligh has been appointed as the new chief executive of Worthing Homes.

Jackie will be joining us on 29 September from the Genesis Housing Association where she has been Director of Governance and Compliance for the last three years.

Prior to this she has worked at Merthyr Valley Homes as chief executive, Hampshire Voluntary Housing Society (part of the Wessex Housing Group) and has also spent seven years on the council of the National Housing Federation, including three years as vice chair. Jackie started out as a housing management trainee and during her career has worked in a variety of locations from rural communities through to inner London so will be bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience of the housing sector to the role.

She has a real passion for customer service and resident involvement along with engagement of the wider community which all strongly feature in Worthing Homes ethos.

Jackie said of her appointment “I am really excited to be joining Worthing Homes as it starts to look at its long term vision for the future. I am looking forward to leading this work with the board, colleagues, residents and partners whilst building on the firm foundations that have already been established.”

We congratulate Jackie on her appointment to Worthing Homes and look forward to working with her over the coming years as the company continues to grow.
