Worthing Homes is pleased to announce that it has become a founder donor of the Worthing and Adur Fund.
Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce are taking the lead in developing a new charitable fund for the area, the ‘Worthing & Adur Fund’, in partnership with Sussex Community Foundation, a charity set up to encourage and support local giving.
The Foundation is a flexible vehicle through which donors can support a variety of local projects. These are often smaller groups that are doing valuable work in the community but don’t have the profile or fund raising resources of larger charities.
There is currently match funding available through Governments Grassroots Programme so this has enabled the donations to be doubled, thus allowing even more projects to be helped.
