The HCA health check Worthing Homes

Worthing Homes is pleased to announce that it has retained the top rating for governance and financial viability as assessed by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

The HCA is the regulator for social housing and issued the unchanged regulatory judgement in July 2013 following the annual review it has carried out. The review considered the company’s detailed financial position including financial statements, financial projections, treasury management and ongoing development programme as well as our approach to the issues raised by welfare reform and the measures put in place to mitigate this risk. The judgement is a top rating that “the provider meets the requirements on governance and viability set out in the Governance and Financial Viability standard of the Regulatory Framework and has the capacity to mitigate its exposures effectively.”
