Play on

Two Worthing Homes’ projects that had temporary planning permission have now been granted permanent permission.

I am delighted that these projects have been granted permanent permissions. Providing specific areas for children to play in helps to ensure that they are away from the roads and the dangers that they bring. I would like to thank Simon, Joolie and especially Poppy for sharing their views and experiences of these projects at the meeting. Sue Brown, resident involvement co-ordinator

The BMX track near The Avenue, and the five a side pitch in Maybridge Crescent, Worthing were both unveiled in the past year.

Sue Brown, resident involvement co-ordinator and Simon Anderson, neighbourhood manager, from Worthing Homes were in attendance at the Development Control Committee meeting, along with Joolie Edwards from West Sussex Youth Service and local resident Poppy Nock.

The committee seemed impressed by the projects as well as the enthusiasm from the speakers at the meeting, who all spoke with personal experience.
