The community house was alive with the sound of excited children at the annual Christmas party, held the week before Christmas.
Along with the usual music and dancing there was entertainment in the form of balloon modelling, and plenty of games including a massive pass the parcel.
Much to the children’s delight Domino’s pizza in Broadwater kindly supplied food for the event, and everyone got together around the table to tuck into the feast. Furthermore the manager of the branch was so impressed by the work of the house that she has now become a volunteer!
To bring an end to the party and put lasting smiles on the childrens faces the community house team presented each child with a Christmas gift, and in return the children presented the volunteers with gifts to thank them for their time and dedication through out the year.
