Thanks to a close working partnership we have been able to secure £20 million additional funding from Lloyds Bank.
This loan will enable us, along with the surplus that we make, to build 200 new affordable homes in the local area over the next three years.
“I am delighted that we have secured this additional funding” said Julian Pitcher, resources director. “As this now enables us to provide even more affordable homes in the area which in turn helps to reduce the housing waiting list.”
Worthing Homes currently has four fully funded sites in various stages of development, which will provide 114 new homes; and with this new funding we are now in a position to commit to opportunities in the Worthing, Adur and Arun areas as they arise for building the further 200 homes.
