Happy birthday to our Greenspace team which is 10 years old on the 7 May!
Although the team members have changed during this time, including three new apprentices, the commitment, pride and hard work they put into creating beautiful spaces hasn’t.
Over the 10 years the team have been busy planting 5,000 sapplings, maintaining over 2,000 mature trees; they have created one new play area and refurbished three others, landscaped 30 sites, created a memorial garden at Pearsons retreat and cut 3680 acres of grass!
But it doesn’t stop there as this year Greenspace will be refurbishing the grounds at Maybridge square and are taking on the grounds at all seven of our sheltered schemes.
Today, 22 April, is also the Homespace decorating teams 1st birthday!
Over the last year the team, who have over 150 years experience between them, have painted over 500 properties and received glowing feedback from the residents.
