Thanks to a grant from Postcode Local Trust we have now installed solar panels onto our Community House in Dominion Road, Worthing.
The panels will enable the house to cut their electricity bills, allowing the money saved to be used on more activities run by them; and for the days when the sun isn’t shining bright the panels also have battery storage ensuring the house remains fully sustainable.
Having the Community House converted to solar panels for its electricity is just one of the projects Worthing Homes is undertaking in order to reduce our carbon foot print, as part of our commitment to becoming a more sustainable organisation.
