With the importance of resident engagement high on our agenda we held a mini fun day event at our Hollyacre development, Toddington Lane, Wick, and invited their new neighbours from Hampton Park also on Toddington Lane to join us.
Held on 22 April, the last Friday of the school holidays, we were helped by the dry weather to host a number of activities on the green space there for all to enjoy.
Along with a bouncy castle, surf simulator and face painting our community development team did craft and garden projects with the children including making LED face masks and ‘grow your own’ sunflowers.
Suzanne Newman, PR and Communications Officer said ‘It was lovely to see and meet so many of the residents at the event and interact with them as they enjoyed the activities on offer. The day was so well received, attended and enjoyed that we now plan on making it an annual event’.
