Having been named Social Housing Provider of the Year at this year’s Sustainable Housing Awards we are now pleased to announce that two of our initiatives have been short-listed for national awards.
Our Relish Smartwire™, a simple to use power-down switch for all non-essential devices in the home, has been short-listed in the Business Innovation of the Year category at the 2015 Construction News Specialist Awards.
This will be the 11th year of the awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievement of the very best specialist contractors in the UK, and this year also recognise the pinnacles of technical prowess, innovation, project delivery and business acumen.
The Community House, our Big Lottery Funded community project in East Worthing, has been short-listed for a 2015 TPAS Award in the Southern region final. The house is a place where people can meet up informally, take part in activities or drop in for help and advice when it is needed. It is a friendly, relaxed environment where everyone is welcome.
The TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) awards showcase the compelling and inspirational stories of success of tenants, landlords and contractors working together; and celebrate the people, ideas and organisations that shape the tenant involvement work of tomorrow.
Both award ceremonies are being held in London in the New Year.
