Eighteen months and 81 new homes

As a registered provider of social and affordable housing we have a rolling plan to build 500 new homes every 5 years.

In recent years not only has the lack of land in Worthing and with it spiraling costs we have begun to build further afield in Sussex, as well as in Worthing where opportunity arises, to ensure we are hitting our target.

Over the last 18 months we have completed 81* homes in the following areas:

  • St Johns Ave, Burgess Hill
  • Middleton Close, Bracklesham
  • Bayside, Worthing
  • Bolnore Road, Haywards Heath
  • Hampton Park, Wick
  • Burndell Road, Yapton

With these now home to 168 people, a mix of individuals and families.

Along with the security of a place to call home the residents can access the help and support we provide to enable them to become more self sufficient and create a sustainable future through our community development work which includes IT and back to work and training courses, cookery classes as well as guidance on finances and budgeting.

For us it really is all about people, communities and opportunities and creating sustainable futures!

*usually this would be higher but since the pandemic build costs have risen and some materials more difficult to source
