CO alarm legislation

Recent legislation has made it a requirement for councils and private landlords to install CO alarms in their properties; although there is currently no legal requirement for registered providers (i.e. social housing landlords like us) to install CO alarms.

However, we believe the recent legislation will be extended to include registered providers at some point in the future, so we have a planned programme in place for CO alarms to be installed in all of our properties (except for shared ownership and leasehold properties).
