On Thursday 29 September at the RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) South East awards we were delighted to win two awards in conjunction with Adur and Worthing Council for our Meadow Road regeneration project in Worthing.
The project saw six low rise blocks of flats, each containing eight bedsits that were not suitable for today’s standards of living, transformed into one block of eight flatlets with a layout and space requirements more suited to today’s lifestyle and the rest of the blocks demolished to make space for 12 much needed two bedroom family homes.
At the awards the Meadow Road scheme not only took best project in its category which was Excellence in Planning to Deliver Housing, it was also awarded the overall regional winner across all seven categories of the awards.
