Award winning colleague

Sue Brown, Worthing Homes project manager at the community house and a resident involvement co-ordinator, received an award from the Worthing Mayor Councillor Ann Barlow.

There were 21 awards presented at a ceremony, which was held in the Mayors parlour on 16 January. The awards were for people from all walks of life including fund raisers and voluntary organisations.

I was surprised but delighted to be given an award. I would like to thank the mayor for recognising the work of the community house, and I would also like to thank Leigh-Anna our community development worker along with all of our volunteers without whom the community house would not work.
