We were thrilled to learn today that we have been short-listed for sustainable landlord of the year in the 2012 UK Housing Awards.
This award recognises the green giants of the housing world. Initiatives could relate to existing stock, a new scheme or development, and/or supporting tenants to be more green. It could also reflect the work landlords have done to make their own organisation more environmentally sustainable.
The UK Housing Awards are the longest established and most respected awards in the social housing sector, recognising the ingenuity, creativity, passion and results of housing organisations and individuals across the UK. This showcase for excellence in social housing is organised jointly by the Chartered Institute of Housing and Inside Housing.
The winner will be announced at a special awards ceremony on Wednesday 27 June.
