Worthing Homes Community House in Dominion Road, Worthing opened in March 2007.
The house is a very special place where people can meet up informally, take part in activities or drop in for help and advice when it is needed. It is a friendly, relaxed environment where everyone is welcome and you will always be greeted with a smile! The house is run by paid staff together with volunteers and offers opportunities for all ages.
The house is open to anyone and everyone. You don’t have to be a Worthing Homes resident to access the help, facilities or clubs that we offer. The diverse mix of people is what makes the house such a special place!
We recently commissioned a report on the work of the house and you can read it here
What we do at the Community House?
The house is run by Alison Brett and offers a variety of activities, from coffee mornings to after school activities, and help with education and training – we have something for everyone.
We can also offer more practical help!
- If you have no credit but need to get hold of someone urgently, you are welcome to come and use our phone free of charge – just ask
- If you need some help to fill in important but long and difficult forms or would like us to help you get in touch with the right people to help with a problem.
Community House opens at 9am and closes at 5pm every day except Wednesday, when we close at 1pm. The food provision goes out daily at 9.30am.
To find out what activities are on or to ask Alison for advice please call on 01903 215 799.
