Sarah Murphy

Head of Customer Services

I recently joined Worthing Homes in December 2023 having previously overseen the Housing Management and Property Services functions of a small, supported Housing Association in East Sussex. I have spent my whole career in social housing, having started as a Housing Officer and in later years working alongside charities, the NHS, and local authority commissioners to mobilise new supported housing contracts. It’s important to me to work in an industry whose purpose is to help improve lives, especially for people who have faced challenges in their life.

I love looking at problems from different angles and with a fresh perspective to see how I can improve things. As well as looking at improvements we can make at a local level to our own processes and culture I am also passionate about getting involved in national debates in the sector about issues that affect us and our residents.
