Worthing Homes promotes training and learning opportunities for all its staff and encourages them to progress and develop themselves and their skills throughout their employment at the company.

Staff involvement across the whole company drives our community initiatives. Our sustainability group reviews green issues across the company, our resident liaison team works with residents to promote initiatives and projects and we regularly offer work experience, as well as training based opportunities in the form of apprenticeships.

Neighbourhood Housing Officer

As a Neighbourhood Housing Officer you will have accountability for the day to day housing management of our properties within Felpham, Bognor, Barnham and Chichester. You will be based from our office in Worthing but will spend the majority of your time working remotely in the community to identity problems and interact with customers and agencies to resolve issues. This can include enforcement action, sign-posting, problem-solving and engaging with residents to improve the community.

NB: You must hold a full UK Driving license and have the use of own car

Senior neighbourhood warden

We’re looking for someone to provide high quality caretaking services, ensuring our estates are well maintained, providing a safe domestic environment for our customers.  

With experience of caretaking, repairs and maintenance tasks, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and managing services, including repairs and cleaning to communal areas. You’ll work with a range of organisations and services to communicate requirements, report incidents and making sure all areas are Health and Safety compliant.

In addition to managing work schedules and maintaining records you’ll be able to carry out minor repairs and maintenance and monitor estate conditions. This is a varied and challenging role, which requires commitment, good customer service and the ability to communicate effectively.
