Twentyriffic years of Worthing Homes
We have now been providing homes and enhancing lives for 20 years!
Take a look through our Birthday Book - with stories from residents, colleagues and partners - to read about how we have made a difference...
Universal Credit advice
Don't forget: from July 2018 in Adur/Worthing or Arun, any of our working age residents needing to make a new claim for Jobseekers Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support, Tax Credits or Housing Benefit will have to claim Universal Credit instead!
This will replace new claims for all these benefits and Tax Credits. Look out for the information and updates we will be providing to help you through the change.
Did you know that Citizens Advice can give you advice on everything from debt and money matters through to housing issues and even legal issues.
If you have an issue and you're not sure where to turn then visit their website for information.
Want to find out your balance quickly and easily?
Wherever, whenever just text BAL to: 07425 428 428.
Provided you have given us your mobile number our systems will text you back with your balance helping you stay in control!
Money Worries drop-in
Are you worried about paying your rent, debts or other bills? Do you have general money worries? Concerned that you're paying too much on your utility bills?
Don't panic! Just come to one of our 'Money Worries' drop-in clinics, held every Monday from 9AM until 12PM in the Resource Centre (based next to our Davison House office in North Street), and chat to our financial inclusion coordinators and our sustainability coordinator.
They can give you advice and signposting for help with your finances and utility bills, all helping to make your life a little easier!
Are you ready for Universal Credit?
Find out how ready you are for Universal Credit! The DWP's simple planner takes less than 5 minutes to complete and gives suggestions on things you may want to think about changing so you're all ready for claiming Universal Credit.
Remember, if you're currently getting benefits and nothing changes or stops, you don't need to do anything until you are told you need to claim Universal Credit. Also remember that it's for working age people only!
