Paying your rent

Although you are responsible for paying your rent and service charges, we want to help to make this as quick and easy as possible. There are a number of ways in which you can pay your rent or any other related charges to us.

Information on rent and service charges can be found in our Rent and Service Charges Booklet

Direct Debit: the quickest and easiest way to pay!

All you need to do is download and complete a Direct Debit Form please make a note of your address on the form. Alternatively you can call us on 01903 703 102 to request a form or pop into reception to collect one.

Direct debits are taken on either a monthly or a weekly basis. If you opt for monthly payments then the direct debit will be collected from your nominated bank account on the 15th of each month (or the next working day if the 15th falls on a weekend).

If you opt for weekly payments then the direct debit will be collected from your nominated bank account every Thursday.

Once the direct debit is set up you don’t need to do anything else except let us know if you are changing bank details. Any changes to your rent account will automatically be updated on your direct debit, which is protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Standing order: a good option if our collection dates don’t suit your circumstances

If the dates allocated for direct debit payments aren’t suitable for you then you can arrange with your bank for a standing order to be set up. You will need to remember to inform your bank of any changes to the standing order (such as an increase to the amount payable). Please call us on 01903 703 102 for a standing order form.

A cheque in the post

You can send a cheque (made payable to Worthing Homes Limited) to our office. To ensure the process runs smoothly please be sure to put your name and the address of the property you are paying for on the back of the cheque. Please DO NOT send cash through the post.
