For social housing customers and intermediate rent customers
Our repairs team: Homespace
10 years ago we launched an ongoing improvement programme on existing homes. For all the day to day repairs our Homespace team look after electrical, plumbing, carpentry and decorating jobs, as well as general labouring and groundwork.
Our responsive maintenance partner PH Beck
By working in partnership with PH Beck, we are committed to delivering an excellent standard of service. Together we have developed these improvement measures:
- concise contracts with simple repair descriptions;
- contractors can input repair completion dates on line;
- introduction of sustainability measures;
- commitment to our excellence agenda;
- new key performance indicators.
PH Beck has also signed up to our 5 excellence commitments for responsive repairs. Their team will:
- Always greet you by your name.
- Be polite at all times.
- Get the job right first time.
- Provide you with quality workmanship.
- Leave your home clean and tidy.
Our environmental policy ensures we keep waste to a minimum, and we will recycle as much material as possible.
Our gas contractor BSW Heating Ltd
By working together with BSW Heating Ltd we aim to offer you the best service possible.
If you have any problems with any of the gas appliances in your home, owned by Worthing Homes, you can call BSW direct on freephone 0800 158 5690. This freephone number should be used day and night, 365 days a year. The calls will not cost you anything from a land line. If calling from a mobile please use 0208 763 5333
BSW will also carry out the annual gas safety checks on gas appliances and the gas pipework in your home. They will also service the appliances owned by Worthing Homes, and any smoke alarms at this time.
All of these checks are to protect your health and safety, therefore if you receive a letter from BSW with an appointment for your annual gas safety check, it is important that you let them in on the appointed date. If you need to rearrange the appointment then this can be done by calling them on freephone 0800 158 5690, or 0208 763 5333, or email worthingorders@bsw-heating.com

We have a number of ways in which you can report a repair. You can use our quick and easy online repairs reporting, or contact us online or give our property services team a call on 01903 703 101
Appointments for scheduled work
We will always arrange an appointment with you to carry out the work on your home. If we are unable to contact you by telephone, we will write asking that you contact us or our maintenance partner PH Beck to arrange a mutually convenient date and time.

For shared ownership customers
If you are buying your home under our shared ownership scheme, you have the normal rights and responsibilities of a full owner-occupier. This means you are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of your home. You may wish to take advantage of our handyman service and draw on the experience and expertise of our responsive maintenance partner PH Beck.
