Development Programme

The aim with all our new developments is to create neighbourhoods that become a real pleasure to live in, visit, or just pass through. 

Worthing Homes’ development programme is Sussex based and focused in the areas that are within travel distance of our main offices.  These are principally Worthing, Adur and Arun, where we are preferred partners.

We only build homes that:

• meet the needs and aspirations of our customers in terms of quality, design, energy efficiency and size
• are sustainable, thereby regenerating and enhancing the urban environment
• are attractive and safe, enhancing feelings of security and permanence

The Concise Contract

We have developed an eight-page building contract for which we have won the National Client of the Year award from Constructing Excellence.  This is the body dedicated to celebrating and sharing examples of best practice across all sectors of the building industry. 

The Concise Contract has been welcomed by our developer partners as a way of streamlining and simplifying the procurement process.

Design awards

Our commitment to quality and building neighbourhoods regularly secures us design awards, for example at Carmel House and Phoenix House in Worthing.

Balancing communities

Worthing Homes believes that our neighbourhoods need to be just as sustainable as our homes.  We endeavour to employ a mixture of household sizes and tenures in our larger developments, including shared ownership, key worker, market and intermediate rent as well as social rent.
