RedAssure offers you a safety net 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing you to be more independent in your own homes.
The RedAssure button is easy to use. A small piece of electrical equipment plugs into your phone line connecting you to the care centre. Simply pressing the RedAssure button enables direct speech contact to a real person who will stay on the line until help arrives. Our service operates 24 hours day to ensure you get the right type of help quickly, be it one of your family, a neighbour, doctor or an ambulance.
The premium plus service offers you a range of Telecare products which work together with the RedAssure button. They are easy to install and use state of the art electronics to alert our care centre and your nominated contact.
The most popular products are:
Fall detector - this automatically detects a serious fall. It is specially designed to respond to sudden changes in angle and impact and sends a radio signal direct to your RedAssure alarm if you were to fall. Before you know it a care centre operator will be speaking to you to reassure you that help is on its way.
Flood detector - a neat unobtrusive radio sensor which provides an automatic early warning of any flood beit a burst pipe or leaving a tap running.
Smoke detector - this potentially life saving device, provides additional protection by automatically raising an instant alarm to the care centre.
Property exit sensor - this sensor can be set to meet individuals' needs, for example if a customer does not return home after a given time or leaves the property in the middle of the night it will automatically alert the care centre.
Bed sensor - this very helpful devise automatically turns on the lights when you get out of bed at night greatly reducing the chance of falling when it is dark. It can also alert a carer in the same property that a person is out of bed and may need assistance.
Wrist Care - this watch style pendant is a very sophisticated sensor that measures your activity around the home during the day and night. This sensor is particularly effective in assisting to detect a deterioration in health.
With this option we provide 24 hour response by a trained staff member to each and every emergency call. We quickly assess the situation to ensure the appropriate assistance is provided. In fact last year we helped prevent a large number of unnecessary journeys to hospital. This service is particularly useful for customers who do not have family or friends who live close by as the service provides immediate support.
A valuable addition to the Personal Response Service is a keysafe, this will enable us to provide the fastest possible help in an emergency. A keysafe is a very secure small metal box which fixes to an outside wall of your property holding a key to your home.
An Erica door chain together with a keysafe will give the extra security that a door chain provides. This special door chain enables carers and our response staff to gain access to your home to provide aid in any emergency, even if you are unable to release the chain yourself from inside your home.
The Personal Response Service is greatly used by those who live in retirement or sheltered housing. When the warden or scheme manager goes home at night (even if they live on site) the law now prevents them from being on call and responding to their residents' emergencies as this affects their rest time. This service offers a personal response by specially trained members of staff who will confidently and quickly get the help that is required, whether that is contacting family, friends or the emergency services.

This is a truly personal service, we offer you and your carers a flexible calling plan to suit your needs. Each plan is unique. We can call up to three times a day, seven days a week ensuring a range of needs are met. Included in the service is a bespoke plan to ensure family, friends or health services are alerted if there is a problem.

Whether you are a private individual or a housing provider looking to support your residents RedAssure can help. We can tailor the services we provide to meet your specific requirements. We have specialised staff to ensure everything we do is completed on time and to your satisfaction.
You will receive your RedAssure account statement every quarter. If you would prefer for your statement to be sent to a member of your family we will of course arrange this.

All RedAssure alarms are built to extremely high standards. Each unit has rechargeable batteries ensuring they work if the electricity supply is affected by a power cut. The RedAssure alarm will even alert the care centre that there is a power cut. In the rare event that the alarm needs replacing we offer a 24 hour repair service.
When we install your RedAssure alarm we will carefully explain how it works and complete a number of test calls with you. It is very simple and you will soon get used to using it. We suggest that all customers press their RedAssure button every 2 weeks to ensure they are comfortable using it and talking with our staff at the care centre.
