The resources team
Resources is subdivided into three areas looked after by discrete teams.
The ICT team
The Information & Communication Technology (ICT) team are responsible for supporting all computer and telephone based systems used by Worthing Homes. This covers the full system lifecycle from evaluation, through implementation and project management, support and finally decommissioning and replacement of systems and equipment. The team also undertakes the training of staff throughout the organisation and produces an annual ICT strategy. It has developed a business continuity plan to ensure the organisation can function in case of an emergency.
The finance team
The responsibilities of the finance team includes the daily processing of all income, payment of contractors and suppliers, invoicing and follow-up of non-rental income, updating the rent system with housing benefit entitlements and processing all entries into the rent accounts. The team are also responsible for producing internal financial management reports and the statutory accounts which are presented to members at the AGM.
The marketing and communications team
Our Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator is responsible for all PR and marketing activities. These include management of the website, press enquiries and releases, and the co-ordination of promotional literature.
