We plan in the required maintenance that your home needs to help keep it in tip top condition. When carrying out these major works to your home we aim to keep the disruption to the minimum.

  • We will carry out an annual gas safety check, where there is a gas supply

  • We will carry out an annual smoke alarm test, where a hard wired alarm is fitted

  • We will carry out bi-annual fire alarm and emergency lighting tests, where communal systems are fitted e.g. to flats

  • We will apply for and manage aids and adaptations grants on your behalf

  • We will decorate the outside of your home and internal communal areas every 5 years and publish the Timetable

  • We will install smoke alarms as part of every home rewire

  • We will offer an elderly person decoration scheme, where one room is decorated

  • We will ensure all completed works are inspected

  • We will ensure our contractors adopt a contractor ‘charter’

  • We will offer a choice of colours / fittings / designs

  • We will provide information packs for major works including kitchen and bathroom refurbishments

  • We will write to you at least 4 weeks before works are due to start on your home, explaining the works and providing a named point of contact
