Empty Home Standards
It's exciting moving into a new home! And to ensure there are no 'surprises' when you do we aim to ensure that all our homes are to an acceptable standard before you move in.

We will ensure your new home meets our empty home standard standard, and the decent home standard

We will complete a gas safety check, where there is a gas supply

We will complete an electrical safety check

As part of the above, we will test hard wired smoke alarms or install a new hard wired smoke alarm

We will decorate up to 4 rooms where needed; alternatively we will provide you with decorating vouchers

We will carry out an asbestos survey, complete any works required and provide you with a report

We will cut the grass to the front and rear gardens

We will provide you with an energy performance certificate (EPC)

We will apply the Relish™ principles to our empty homes works and specifications

We will achieve high levels of positive feedback

Wherever possible, we will complete all major work (the bigger jobs) before the home is let to you
