To the rescue
Families from Worthing, Adur and Arun areas have been able to stay in their own homes thanks to Worthing Homes.
Since June 2010 Worthing Homes have been supporting the Mortgage Rescue Scheme which helps households who could otherwise face repossession. Having helped an inital 6 families the company have decided to extend the facility and have agreed to help a further 6 families.
Jo Calder, Sales and Leasehold Adviser, said "It's fantastic to know we are helping families to remain in their own homes. It avoids the upheaval and upset that they would otherwise have to go through in terms of housing, schooling etc. Seeing the difference that the scheme has made to those families is heart warming and I'm pleased that we are now able to help more of them".
