Training and resource centre

The resource centre, in Worthing town centre, opened in 2002. Since then it has become a hub of activity, providing a place where people can meet, learn new skills and gain information.

Wednesday
10.00 to 15.00 Computer drop in - free to all**
Thursday 10.00 to 12.00 English for adults with learning difficulties (Adult & community learning*)
13.30 to 17.00 Graphics for all – Digital Media and Art group
Friday 10.00 to 12.00 Adult numeracy class (Adult & community learning*)
13.00 to 15.00 Adult numeracy class (Adult & community learning*)
Saturday 10.00 to 12.00 Fast track numeracy class (Adult & community learning*)

Computer drop in session with Amber Everitt**

Learn some new computer skills, surf the net, or look up emails. At busy times Worthing Homes residents may be given priority.

 

The Resource Centre is open to everyone and with so many good things going on you have nothing to lose but lots to gain!

The rooms at the centre are available for hire 

The centre consists of:

  • 1 large meeting room with additional IT suite and access to 18 PC’s (Room 1);
  • 1 small meeting room with access to 3 PC’s (Room 2);
  • Wi-Fi;
  • kitchen and toilet facilities.

We also have a whiteboard, projector and excellent disabled facilities, a portable induction loop is available and other adaptive equipment can be arranged on request.
