Changing the text size

You may wish to change the size of text to make this site easier to read. This section tells you how to do that in a range of popular web browsers.

In most browsers, you can use the text size options in our toolbar at the top of the page to make adjustments. Three buttons are available: reduce, reset and increase. However, if these are not visible, you may be able to make the same adjustments using the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Press <Ctrl> and + to increase the size.
  • Press <Ctrl> and – to decrease the size.
  • Press <Ctrl> and 0 to go back to the default size.

Where neither of these approaches work, you will need to browser specific method:

Microsoft Internet Explorer

Select 'View' from the menu at the top of your browser window, and then from the drop down menu that appears select 'Text Size'. A further menu will open with options which allow you to change the size of the text.

Firefox (Mozilla)

Select 'View' from the menu at the top of your browser window, and then from the drop down menu that appears select Text Size. A side menu will open up with options which allow you to change the size of the text.
